The 3-position brewer door switch controls a beverage cooler efficiently. When the door is closed, the micromotor works to maintain the temperature, and the lighting is off to save energy. When opening the door, the micromotor turns off and the lighting turns on for easier viewing. There is also a total off position, where both the micromotor and lighting can be deactivated.
