Emicol helps Conservex customers gain in quality with its advanced Electronic Thermostat (TEM)

A manufacturer of refrigeration equipment from Itu (SP) already uses the new thermostat in 11 models of its product line

Conservex, a traditional refrigeration industry in Itu (SP), which serves the Food Service Sector, is already using the new Electronic Thermostat with Microprocessor (TEM), manufactured by Emicol, to replace the old electromechanical thermostat, known as the bulb thermostat metallic.

The thermostat is a device designed to measure and act on the refrigeration system in order to control its temperature. It is commonly applied in domestic refrigerators, commercial refrigerators, freezers, brewers, wine cellars, refrigerated counters, refrigerators and many others.

Conservex has already manufactured and delivered to the market more than 300 refrigeration equipment of 11 models, such as a vertical display of beverages, cold cuts and dairy products, islands for frozen foods, refrigerated showcases, among others.

According to Claudemir Spinardi, Quality Manager at Conservex, Emicol's new thermostat is more accurate than the metal bulb:

“We gained in quality. TEM is more modern and represents a technological evolution. We have been using this thermostat for more than two months and it is working perfectly, with a gain in the quality of our refrigeration equipment”, said Spinardi.

The new electronic thermostat manufactured by Emicol Eletro Eletrônica is also already being exported to Colombia, according to the Electronic Applications manager, Cleber Delfino:

“Electromechanical thermostats usually wear out, can lose calibration and generally have a greater tolerance in temperature measurement. The new product developed by Emicol allows the installation of an automatic defrost option in low-cost refrigerators, for example, significantly improving their efficiency”, he said.

According to Feres Macul, Director of Business Development, the electronic thermostat is a great option to add value to refrigerators, as with an extremely simple product, the equipment manufacturer will offer better precision, greater temperature control, delay in reconnection in case of power failure and automatic defrost, a function only available in more advanced and expensive refrigerators.

According to Feres Macul, Director of Business Development, Emicol reinforces its commitment to its customers, offering a national product of the highest quality and versatility in a market where thermostats are only imported:
