New version of the electronic board is more robust with SMD components
A new version of the electronic control for ice machine, more robust, modern and compact, with SMD components, was launched by Emicol Eletro Eletrônica. The electronic board project was developed in partnership with Everest Refrigeração, from Rio de Janeiro, the largest ice machine manufacturer in Latin America and leader in the Brazilian market, with more than 40 years in the market.
Mandatory equipment in bars, restaurants and hotels Everest ice machines ensure continuous ice making for the comfort of customers and guests. And, as these ice machines, in many cases, are installed in hot and humid places and with high demand, Emicol launched this version of the electronic board, more robust, modern and compact, with the use of SMD components and surface layer in “potting” that protects the board against moisture, insects and residues.
Another important point is that the old board used many older PTH electronics, which were becoming obsolete in the market. The SMD components are more precise and smaller, allowing for a reduction in the size of the electronic board.
The electronic control is the “brain” of the EGC line and controls the hot gas and water solenoid valve and the ice drive and detection motor. This control also has inputs that detect ice formation, water level and ice tray position.
According to the Director of Business Development, Feres Macul Neto, Emicol managed to develop a more robust and precise electronic board to serve Everest Refrigeração.
“The product was made for the customer, according to their needs. Emicol listened to what the customer needed and produced a solution with the speed and reliability necessary for the customer's successful launch,” said Feres.
